Ways to Give
Did you know there are creative ways to support the Lansing Community College Foundation? Ways in which the LCC Foundation, you and your loved ones all benefit at the same time? Such giving techniques are called “planned gifts”, because with thoughtful planning, you create win-win solutions for you and the LCC Foundation. Donors who have named LCC Foundation as a beneficiary of a planned gift become members of our Legacy Society.
Gifts of any size help to support student scholarships. Your gift can be directed to specific scholarships, or donated to areas of greatest need. Your gift will help us to meet the needs of students who are struggling with financial difficulties.
You can even create a scholarship in your name, or to honor the memory of a loved one. This is an easy and rewarding experience. The Foundation will work with you to establish award criteria. Scholarships can be funded annually (minimum $1,000 a year for a period of 3 years), endowed with a minimum gift of $25,000 (funded within a period of 5 years). Endowed scholarships award in perpetuity from interest earned on the principle. Contact the Foundation for more information.

Gifts can be directed to specific programs, or departments at LCC. Many of our donors feel a connection to programs like childcare, LUCERO, veterans, nursing, Women’s Resource Center, or performing arts. Gifts support program enhancements that are not possible through normal budget funding.
